This UPDATED and ENHANCED EDITION marks the first known update to the
Strong's Dictionaries in one hundred fifteen years. It contains the Greek and Hebrew
Unicode for each entry. Each entry is normalized into various fields for extended
computer usage. The dictionaries contain parts of speech as well as proper noun
identification of people, locations, groups (nationalities and followers), and things.
The updates and enhancements are quite substantial to clearly distinguish this work from
Strong's original Greek and Hebrew dictionaries, yet it clearly retains the solid foundation
he laid. This enhanced work cannot rightly be called “Strong's,” nor merely be called
“Mickelson's” without misrepresenting the work of its authors. Therefore, it has become
a humble duty and an unexpected courtesy that this enhanced body of work should be
called by both names: The Mickelson/Strong's. I pray that both my elder brother in
Christ, Dr. James Strong, and his adherents should find no offense.
Due to brevity in print or computer usage, this body of work may be labeled or referred to
as “Mickelson/Strong's” or strictly in computer usage as “Mickelson” (when space
requires) with a hint displayed when the mouse is over the name that signifies the actual
name of this body of work. This latter permission is found of necessity and not of
preference.
